HOTEL MONNA LISA, Florence – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had a funky smell that required using a freshening spray, but it was clean and comfortable, located at the quiet back of the hotel. The service was excellent, with highly competent and friendly staff. The location was spot on, close enough to everything but away from the crowds. The dining experience offered a decent selection but could have been more extensive. The facilities were satisfactory, offering a good overall experience.

The hotel was ideally located for sightseeing, within easy reach of the central railway station and offering helpful service. However, the dining options were average, with mainly inexpensive industrial products.

I was truly impressed by the grandeur of the room, as it was one of the most impressive rooms I have ever seen, adorned with original art and furniture. However, the lack of ironing facilities was a minor inconvenience, and the initial mix-up with housekeeping gave a sour note to the experience. The service was top-notch, with some exceptional staff members going out of their way to assist, but occasional lapses in responsiveness were noticeable. The location, though through a maze of medieval streets, offered easy access to Florence's major tourist sites on foot, making it an undeniable asset. Despite some limitations in the dining options, the breakfast selection was fantastic, showcasing a variety of high-quality items until the end of the breakfast time. The facilities were satisfactory, although it would have been nice to see some improvements in certain areas.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms had an original Italian style to them and even included a walk-in closet, making me feel like royalty. The service was super friendly and always accommodating, though there were a few instances of rudeness. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions without being right in the hustle and bustle. The dining experience was great overall, with amazing choices every day. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall fantastic experience.
